Food for thought, regarding Optus and their Direct Carrier Billing.

"Optus took $65.8 million in commission from DCB sales, which charged 2 million customers each financial year. Optus had received 600,000 inquiries about the service since its launch in May 2012.
The company shut down the service last August and has refunded a total of $8 million to 240,000 customers, with more affected customers expected to come forward."
Direct carrier billing is big business. Optus is carrier member of Bridge Alliance and could really look into using SYT technology to get back into the DCB business and increase their ARPU.
Great announcement this week and looking forward to seeing how this will unfold in the next few months.
Have a happy long weekend if you're from Melbourne.
