Well my day is ending with a smile on my face.
I had a lengthy call with an old friend who got a dog about 2 months ago. He has fallen in love with her and she is being
spoiled of course. An 8 year old Jack Russell.
He wanted details about doggie doors because he is now sleeping in cold old Melbourne with a secure back balcony door
slightly open.
She came from rescue dog home and is now sleeping on his rather high bed. He wondered why she cried at night when
he took her bed to his bedroom. He finally got the message and lifted her onto the bed and one very happy dog.
We joked about her now taking up most of the bed and him on the edge. They love to be as close as possible.
Needless to say I have suggested a fitting stool for his Princess so she can get up and down of her own accord.
He has previously owned dogs and lost his partner a few years ago now. A decent amount was left to the home in his
partner's will.
First draft completed - to be reviewed in the morning - keep it as brief as possible I kept reminding myself.
