There is no harm speculating here, I suppose.
One name comes to mind because it is very active in buying into the next era of power generation and is by chance a German company. 'Siemens', for my money is a perfect fit with CFCL. This is purely off the top of my head, however I would like to hear comments from anyone with thoughts on this prospect. The European safety certification to my mind is the key element required before any notion of a possible interest in take-overs. This certification is due and expected in Feb 2010.
My view is that the technology is there, the will from committed countries is there and more importantly perhaps the will is there from a range of commercially concerned partners, which could translate into a bid to aquire the company in the not too distant future. The whole message from CFCL is the need to scale up production to make the products on offer viable.
