Takeover Threat - Thoughts

I’ve been contemplating in recent days with the conclusion of the review and the 4th finding, does it now bring Tivan in full view of others looking to capitalise on the critical minerals and clean energy thematic? I can’t but think the big boys would be looking given the transparency of the roadmap ahead and the relationships established across Middle Arm, Sun Cables and CSIRO.

I think there is a very real risk but again any ambit claim for the company would require the Board to undertake an independent expert report to assess any bid, have them recommend any bid to shareholders and the shareholders subsequently approving a scheme of arrangement. There would be a process and diligence phase here. Critical to this assessment is trying to determine a reasonable proxy for NPV.
