Don't take me too seriously, but let us say there could be 3 reasons for the turnover in shares: (a)they are being bought for someone who may counterbid (b)they are being bought for the party who has already bid, to stop someone else from accumulating (c)they are being bought by an opportunist to sell to any player (including current bidder) in future as a good block of shares. Anyone in the know better than me may like to comment.
