Seems to me their tactics are.to use thurd parties like Williams and Cancord to buy up shares. The end game being to block rival bids, and possibly even try and block the board from seeking other bids. Doubt their current holdings will be enough, but if they hoover up all the shares being sold at or alightly anove 4.85, could get there
