Lithco (Mark + Backers) and Alliance (Bald Hill Owners) JV agreement -

Part 1 -
Lithco to spend $7.5m on lithium exploration to gain 50% of lithium rights

Part 2 -
Lithco to spend $12.5 on equipment / plant modifications / pre strip to gain

+

Lithco major backer to place $5m into Alliance

To gain 50% of overall bald hill project

Part 3 - JV is formed and both partners contribute equally from this point

Journalist in Singapore quoted one of the parties as saying a 2mtpa operation was feasible, online prior to end of 2017.

Offtakers have already examined spodumene concentrate samples produced at the mine and are in discussions.

So I wonder who the significant backer (also referenced in the agreement with alliance) of Lithco is...

I think someone very "interesting". Interesting enough for Alliance to receive huge support institutional support (very absent from most spodumene plays) prior to drilling or JORC for spodumene, or plant retrofit feasibility study done...
