Hi Cris,
If you look at the market rules, you will find that you are not quite right. Manipulating the price by playing around with your orders on the book is deemed illegal; but buying and selling shares to effect the share price is not illegal - as long as there is a change of hands in shares due to the market transactions it is not considered to be illegal. At least this is my interpretation of the rules.
