Georgia - I think the cue is in the rack for this year and a January EGM. It's just not going to happen.
It's neither professional nor respectful to shareholders to try and levy a realistic proposal with this timing.
No BoD could justify promoting a 'company-making' (or breaking more aptly) proposal with the advertised timeline and expect it to be taken seriously. If they did in the current format, they would know it would fail (as they probably do) and this would suggest they are well out of touch with Shareholders. One could then question, how could they claim they operate as an efficient, functioning board?
Further, I don't think the ASIC/ ASX would agree to it. ASIC advised that the board is under scrutiny since the Takeover panel finding earlier in the year.
The FMScomplaints@ASIC mailbox would need to be reinstated again to deal with the thousands of complaints flooding in....
