test of patience

The trading board has a very familiar look about it at present, with a handful of punters champing at the bit to unload their stock at 11-12c. This always seems to be the way when a small explorer has risen a few cents on the expectation of the announcement of good assay results on the horizon. Well, given that last year a figure of 20 working days from the time of delivery to obtain lab results was quoted, and that the company was hoping to despatch the first two batches of samples just prior to Christmas, I figure we probably still have another couple of weeks to go before the first results are published. This is going to test the eager punters' patience to the limit, and presumably some will opt to cash in for 10c or below. I can't imagine too much upward pressure on the SP in the next few days anyway. Perhaps if there weren't many for sale below 13c we might see some but that's not the case. I'm afraid I can never see the point in parking sell orders like those at 11.5 and 12c at present, for it has the effect of holding the price down. Surely it one wants to sell it is far better to stay off the board and pick off a buyer as he comes up. Oh well, herd mentality I suppose. Roll on two more weeks! Oh, and a second drill rig should be on site by then, too, which should ensure a good flow of news from February onwards. Happy times ahead!
