On 22 May at 2.30pm after the Starpharma webinar - the TGA finally decided 3 years too late that Astodrimer sodium as nasal spray is now approved sched 2 - pharmacy medicine
Those who attended the webinar will know that marketing approval is already being sought and hopefully Australian pharmacies will see Viraleze soon
But the criteria referenced in the delegate response is concerning and in stating a difference of opinion with the partial support submission it is worth checking the Starpharma submission re the interim decision which has been published in the TGA WEBSITE.
The TGA needs to answer the logical question what covid treatment is available to the 20m Australians who do not qualify by age or health vulnerability for paxlovid or WHO not recommended Lagevrio
Why did those two drugs get temporary approval but the pre pandemic controls applied to Viraleze which has no safety issues and no adverse effects
