    I'm no fan of MMT. It's simply transferring a problem to an unknown place at an unknown date. There is no free lunch.

    IMO, it is the capitulation of the economics discipline before neoliberalism and corporate capture. Instead of arguing for the return to sound economic principles which are known to work, academics throw up their hands looking for something new under the sun to fight an age old political battle.

    btw, I later realised I misread your wise post to nursery the other day before I went off on a tangent of tribalism.
