People watch way too much tiktok, youtube and facebook content made by egotistical morons who think having an opinion carries the same or more weight than the informed opinions of scietists and experts in their field. The information gets distributed into the social media echo chambers where it bounces around amongst peers and inside their vaccuous craniums reinforcing peoples beliefs that the world is flat, lizard people run the world. the vaccine is a nwo conspiracy and that avril lavigne was killed in a car crash and replaced by a clone.. and they believe it.. and so do all their friends..and all the echo chamber content they are shown confirms their beliefs. This results in them not wanting to take a vaccine which they will all avoid until of course someone they know gets fuxered up by the virus or dies at which point they realise that all they believed was wrong and people are actually getting sick and dying. There is so much extreme misinformation floating around these days the poor squirrels dont know what to believe anymore.
