On the strength of a couple of glasses of red - thinking that if - and I do concede it is a mighty big if - if the New York market doesn't go any lower or at least not much lower than it did in our time today, it may well mean that there is a chance that someone is going to be able to put this mess back together it some sort of fashion that does not end in an absolute disaster. Might be just wishful thinking of a mum/nanny but I hope not.
