Honeymoon cont.. a chill in the air.
The sun has set and the colours of fall across the valley are at their best as we walk back down to the village; our remote and beautiful home of Zalanpatak for the last four days.
This vast hide-away will be covered in snow in a few weeks and it will be difficult to access the village. Spending this time during the prettiest of falls in the foothills, allowed us to learn a lot about the area. The farmers collect seeds that have fallen from any hay after it is gathered. These are then given to Prince Charles' botanist, who takes them back to England; a relationship that benefits both. While both countries share some of the native flora, many species are deplete in the UK.
Image. The colours of fall are more pronounced after the sun has set. (The landowner loved picture and asked for a copy).
