The small caps seem to be getting valued on the absolute basics with a slim chance of future earnings. After a few minutes on reddit, it becomes clear that the herd are only interested in the big players and are convinced that all small caps are doomed.
I definitely agree the delay in plans has been punished and now HVT is only being valued as a 1000kg producer. The big guys are getting wild valuations on future capacity that they'll probably never achieve. I don't think people will believe Lucky Lake even exists until the plants have started budding. Even then some will be sceptical.
The low expectations can be seen as a positive. Any half decent announcement will be totally unexpected to everyone which may produce some upward movement on our sad looking chart.
