@.y. Exactly... if they had been exposed to mumps and contracted it as children their immunity would have been lifelong. I recently heard of a male family friend who had adult mumps.... yep he said it was bloody awful... and guess what... he HAD been vaccinated as a child. MMR only offers TEMPORARY immunity at best. I've been vaccinated for Rubella 2 times (back when I fell for the propaganda b/s).... it never took, after that I gave up trying. I am still not "immune" but who cares, when was the last time you heard of someone with Rubella? ps in case you're wondering, all females are tested when they're pregnant.
