I agree about speed. The entire industry is geared to graphite anodes. But if someone comes up with a silicon anode material that works and is relatively simple to manufacture ( that’s a big if!) then any stock associated with graphite anodes is doomed.
How long will it take to replace graphite with Silicon? I’m not sure. But the announcements will start to come and they will increase in frequency.
