It has only been since Jesus was enthroned in 1914 that the conclusion of the system of things began and true religion has been able to be separated from the false, just as Jesus said would occur. The scandals that are now been exposed by the Catholic laity are not new. It is just that they can no longer remain hidden.
Actually, the process of separation of the false started much sooner than 1914 with the advent of the Age of Enlightenment and continues to this day. Even your pet hate, the Catholic Church is becoming more compassionate, and closer to the teachings of the founder of Christianity while Watchtower doctrine drifts further from these teachings.
People are waking up to his fact as can be seen from responses from Australia to Switzerland to Russia to the scandals in the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Halls and Watchtower HQ.
