I think that most people view the Sentiment buttons as the same as broker recommendations - hence why they're Buy, Sell and Hold - just like broker recommendations (though it's called 'sentiment' because one shouldn't make a financial recommendation without an AFSL). Not having shares in something doesn't prevent you from having the opinion that anyone holding them would be better selling. If a broker has a 'sell' recommendation, and doesn't own shares, I don't think that's a contradiction in terms. Likewise, if a broker thinks a share is good and worth a long term hold, but is currently overpriced, it makes sense for it to be a 'sell'. I could have Telstra at a 'sell' at $4, but a 'buy' at $3. How is that hard to understand? The sharemarket is all about value. Current price and circumstances absolutely change our sentiment on a stock.

That said, I think TraderRic's idea that SK have put a cap on the price at 12c is very odd. There are plenty of stocks trading over an option price. Institutional placements usually happen at below market price. This one was actually above, though this makes sense given lack of liquidity and the previous few weeks VWAP. For shares/options issued lower, the share will often retrace on the announcement, but then it often goes back up. Even AUZ opened at 14c following the announcement of the deal - well above 12c. It's traded back on uncertainty, but still, I don't think that there is anything like a cap at 12c. The bigger risk for me isn't a 12c cap - it's the growing number of shares on issue.

I see a great chance SKI will help one way or the
other with money or knowledge on a wide range
when the plant is ready to be built.
SKI seems forgotten on a lot of posts......57th in THE WORLD
