Those buttons do mean different things to different people, but that use of the sentiment logic has no logic.

You don't own shares.. that is your status... so your sentiment of sell needs to be based on that simple fact.. not the fantasy that you might have 1 or 1 million shares.

In your current position with no shares... a sell sentiment implies you would consider shorting the stock... neutral is waiting to see, and buy as considering the time to buy more is now... that is how I would see it.
