    I honestly don't know why people rave on about the great ocean road. The road between Cairns and Port Douglas has much better views than the GOR has ever had. Hell... even the Nullarbor has better scenery, once you leave the beaten track that is.

    Personal opinion obviously, but I think people who have travelled the Cairns-PD road would agree.
