I guess you could compare MT to an Operations Manager for a large public event. He's the person responsible for executing the concept, negotiating with stakeholders and contractors and media, micro-managing every detail to ensure the event preparations are on track and that things run smoothly once it is underway.
I know from experience that curve balls are thrown every day and that the entire lead-up is a highly stressful period. Loose ends will still be having to be addressed late on the eve of the launch.
All us shareholders are willing him on from the sidelines to achieve the best possible outcome in what is a very complicated exercise with a lot of moving parts.
The difference in our case is that this is not a public event with a specific opening date and that we depend largely on on the glacial speed of bureaucracy. To be realistic, I would allow some leeway if H1 2024 is not attained.
I respect that others may take a different view.
