The NBN farce begins before Abbot, Turnbull and even Rudd Sol Trujillo was driving the Aust govt nuts back in 2005 The Aus govt brought in the 3 amigos from the US hoping to bring some good ol' US know how to aus Telco industry Sol had no interest in that, just keep the testra monopoly printing money with out-dated tech - what's the rush ?? Rudd got in still testra dragging their heels - Rudd say ok if Testra won't do optic fibre the govt will do it ... he gets the boot Abbot gets in charge ... and well now we have a mish mash of tech - some are lucky - some get crap service
