There will be only two directions here,

1. If the Albanese government are ALL supportive and truly committed to having nuclear subs for the military then it will pass.

2. If the Albanese government are NOT ALL supportive and are only half committed to having nuclear subs for the military then it will fail.

I expected that the news would bring the greens and teals out of the quiet zone.

the point was I think made by the Labs when they elected to support the AUKUS offer. reject or fail the IAEA examination and risk losing the whatever deal they offered. this would demand absolute Party unity and confidence.

can the Labs truly offer that and maintain the dignity of free speech?
