    I fast every Monday just to give the body and system a rest, never get hungry, but I have been doing it for a while now. The only thing I sometimes get is cold feet....even when it's warm. Research says it's great for your immune system, and from personal experience I never get sick or have flu's.
    I did do a 5 day water fast a few months ago, just to challenge myself, it was quite easy and any hunger pains go away after about a day, I lost about 4 kgs mainly around the middle, but it is quite anti social especially when my wife is having dinner by her self.
