Rio is a local choice to pick up Flinders as they have infrastructure synergies (along with BHP and FMG).
Even if they buy it to sit on the Ore body to lock out Japanese, Koreans, Indians, Twiggy, Kloppers from getting a bigger toe hold.
After the quit date, and new CEO/board (do us a favour and resign), lets hope UBS and DB can sort out a proper strategy to release the value.
