    I've read a bit of Huxley over the years.... I came to his work after learning of his friendship with DH Lawrence, whose philosophy too is very interesting. something of a pantheist with a focus on Pan.

    but I hadn't encountered this title, even in the also published pages.

    my first step on the path was with RM Pirsig and Zen and the Arts of Motorcycle Maintenance back in the mid 70s. the path has led through many religions and philosophies and still I remain sceptical of all. the least objectionable I find are the buddhist variations. I have a bias toward Mahayana but the Chinese philosophers take of a more pragmatic buddhism has great attraction. I include Lao Tzu in this.
