SPL did in-vivo with mice. The nature papers conducted with cells level. Both of them showed same rate of cell clearance.
They were using same model dendrimer, which type of dendrimer can be optimised later, but first we need a reliable, reproducible results (dont like blast cells of MSB, very fussy )  and I think SPL have some sort of commercial dendrimers ( https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4097927/ )
The component of dendrimer is not very toxic, and they carry well-known drugs which are no doubt of efficiency. If they passed the phase 1, phase 2/3 should not be a problem.
Dendrimer-drugs are talked in recent decades, but we need a good first case to show.
