A lot of people commenting on how this will change the world have 2 points to consider.
1) The reason it may be successful here is because of high labour costs. Europe and 'arab countries' don't have these high labour costs.
2) If we are to create a "robot" to build a house, we will not program it to do a task that we have mastered as humans. Bricklaying has changed a lot over the last 50 years alone. These changes have made it easier and more efficient for THE BRICKLAYER, if we are going to completely redesign how we lay bricks to fit into a computer program, that is an inefficient process.
A centre pivot crane, being fed by pump with concrete which rotates, continuously '3d printing' walls seems much more efficient than programming a excavator to lay bricks in the same way a human does.
