Shipping News of course was a bit bleak in recounting the collapse of the Cod fishing in North America "The Northwest Atlantic cod stocks collapsed in the early 1990s and have yet to recover, despite the subsequent establishment of a continuing fishing moratorium. The Yanks are flexing economic muscle by blocking the Chinese from buying a Danish company .

A few years ago the Yanks stopped a Netherlands company from selling
chip manufacturing equipment to China.

IMO if the Yanks want to block commercial deals such as these,
then they should pay compensation..The Yanks are Capitalists
where money is king.
