So much internet chatter about WES potentially making a bid for a major Aussie lithium producer. The Fin Review today is speculating that it may be a tilt at LTR perhaps in partnership with SQM. Market pricing and chatter suggests that it could alternatively bid for PLS which has an enterprise value of around $9b and which could be easily digested by the $60b Australian behemoth either alone or in partnership. Most pundits seem to think a 60% premium is normally a reasonable mark so we could be looking at an offer in the low to mid $6s. Personally I want $7.50.
