No matter how positive you are as an investor, if you have one iota of perspective and put bias aside, Viraleze has so far been a spectacular FAIL.

Yes it is possible that our part-time CEO pulls a massive Viraleze soaked rabbit out of the hat very soon, but really, given the long and extensive history (over 15 years) of her promising but not delivering, IMO this is unlikely.

In just about any other business setting, if a CEO was responsible for plunging $8m into the development and commercialisation of a niche product in a sweet spot of the market with supposedly negligible execution risk, but 8 moths later all they had to show for it was piddly sales from a secret web page, product pulled from shelves, massive discounts to sell the product, regulatory issues in multiple continents, fines for alleged misleading advertising and all the reputational damage that’s been done to the company, heads would roll. And in this case it would start with the head of CEO Jackie Fairley. Where is the accountability, from anyone?

It’s like I’m living in a parallel universe where some forum members are still saying that Jackie is doing a sterling job, just let her do her business behind the scenes, we’ve just been unlucky and Viraleze is still going to be a massive success.
