Tencel wasn't on their list but if you look at their website they describe how they make fabric out of REFIBRA:

Cotton scraps are upcycled into a pulp and mixed in with wood pulp at a maximum ratio of "up to one third" cotton and therefore two thirds wood pulp. Cotton production is still environmentally problematic so their only gain is that 1/3 of their product is recycled material. Might be why they didn't make it onto the list.

Nullabor-20 is 20% wood pulp-free, and Nanollose's plan is to make higher purity quantities up to 100% pulp-free all with different price points.

You're right, all of these are competitors to Nanollose (as already identified by the company), but it will come down to the pricing and how enviro-friendly companies want to make their brand. The fashion industry is very large so it's more realistic to expect a majority of these companies each capturing a portion of the profits. It's unrealistic to expect one single company on this list will beat out everyone else for 100% market capture. I doubt anyone here was thinking Nanollose would achieve that. It's all the more reason to support Nanollose's ventures into separate markets like vegan leather and personal wipes and filters, as it opens more potential revenue streams out of the fashion industry where they will be sharing a slice of the pie.

The other thing is that we are producing lyocell. Unless these other companies are making lyocell (which they aren't), they aren't in direct competition with us, only peripheral competition. They might be in the same space, but there a are a lot of companies that will want lyocell, specifically.

Wayne has also said, in a presentation, that there is ample room for competitors. A forum from London with several competitors also said there needs to be more competitors to make the sector more viable and recognized, so these competitors are probably a net benefit to the company.

Wayne has said the issue for Nanollose will be generating enough supply, not demand, for our product.
