@TheCapatilist; ever since Bob Hawke became PM unions have been emasculated as wages have been sacrificed to $Feed $Greed. It appears that Albanese is about to repeat the Hawke sellout - extracting even more from workers to $Feed business sector $Greed.

So just how did our business sector respond to 1980s' wage sacrifices? History informs us they shafted Aussie Battlers; moving their operations offshore anyway and then demanded 'workforce flexibility' such as battlers having part-time casualised jobs and working multiple shifts per day without the protection of sick leave etc. We've seen pollies allow overseas owned corporations including Uber, Maccas, etc to run amok and to exploit Aussie Battlers!

So what about the share of the tax burden carried by the business sector - oh, gee wizz, it's plummeted and then there's Howard's imposition of the 10% tax burden on people even after they retire from the paid workforce and until the day they die - making older Australians 10% poorer overnight!

Those licking their lips and salivating over their recent windfall business $Profits due to governments transferring wealth created by workers to them would do well to remember what happens when battlers are locked out of wealth creation.

It's pretty easy to figure out who Australia's worst swindlers are; they deserve to be grouped with drug runners, gangsters, gambling empires and many of Australia's 'charities'.
