I agree...I think 3500 is a tipping point if broken badly....and we won't do that unless the good old USA says so....enough damage done for one day anyway.....
if SPX follows the timing for the 2002 lows (and that was a period of 55 trading days from 24/7/02 low to final low on 10/10/02).....and using 21 nov as a start point....you get 20/12/08 as a (midish point)high..we've had 17th dec but also a subsequent one of the 6th Jan (so not adhering really)...but I calculate in trading days that the bottom could be tested on the 22nd Jan (in Trading days) ....in calendar days the 17th (funny that one).....final lows if following that pattern 12th Feb (trading days)....7th Feb Calendar days
