Apparently they are farmed and fed anything from antibiotics to pig and chicken poop and have 10 times more carcinogens than other types of fish. Not sure if this is all true but I have heard that all farmed fish are a lot less nutritious than wild caught fish.

But there is a choice. Tilapia will eat chook poo, pig poo or sheep poo.
