If we become a republic then the Australian constitution has to be rewritten, and by who a political party that doesn't want to ever lose.

Australians should be very wary of such talk because they will lose a lot of rights and liberties they take for granted.

That's what it is really about. A lefty Agenda. for permanent power.

That's why they are being so abusive to the liberal party and high noting themselves to the t.

Albanese said he wants to change the politics in Australia, if he doesn't try to change the constitution by trying to make Australia a republic in the next 2 years I'll be amazed.

But he will try. And he should fail for basic civil liberty issues. That strangely enough a greens party should stand against, but I guess that is the only way they could become untouchable.
