Well there is two ways of looking at it, Gerber is laying the foundations for A2 Infant formula in the USA for us. We are already have a major presence and head start in fresh A2 Milk sales statewide and when A2M make the decision to manufacture A2 IF in the states we have already locked up more exclusive A2 milk supply than Gerber/Nestle.
This could actually be beneficial for us in the long run as long as Blake Waltrip makes the right moves and plays at the right time. Instead of seeing it as not being the first mover in releasing A2 IF into the USA we are letting a big player with limited supply do the leg work for us. We have the advantage of more local A2 supply at this point in time. Its a opportune time to put some of that cash reserve to go into a joint partnership with a large partner in a large IF manufacturing plant/s before Gerber has time to gain scale in the A2 IF space.
We have at this point in time a larger retail distribution base than Gerber has so as long as we play our cards right this could actually work in our favour.
We have been executing and capturing market share beautifully and have had dealt with Nestle previous foray into trying to cut our lunch in IF in the AUS/China space. They failed to gain any traction in that space or any meaningful market share from us and in the end I think it actually just bought more attention to our A2 IF product.
@mvhuf, you would be a better barometer of how Nestle is percieved in the USA. They are seen as shifty and not above board in business dealings with locals and follow regulations as seen with them rorting states with supply for their bottled water.

They fully expect in time other players to be entering the A2 milk and IF space as they see A2M capture their market share and they have already plans in place in how to deal and tackle them when they do just like we did with Nestle failed Atwo If range downunder. This will prove the worth of Blake W and provide him with a challenge to rise up to and hopefully turn it to our advantage. Game on.....
