We now have a huge variety of imported new vehicles and some recently from China & India and not what you'd call good quality.
I'd put my money on a good Japanese used Toyota Corolla anyday as opposed to a new Chinese Cherry.
It seems silly to have the enormous expense of 500 odd ADR paper tigers in Canberra who wait until there is a recall initiated overseas
before they act here.
Japanese manufactured cars in Japan are among the best in the world and their vehicle safety & vehicle security regime in Japan is second to none.
And as I've said previously, we have a Free Trade Agreement with Japan which exposed our working class manufaturing workers to the much more efficient Japanese so why should our Aussie working class be prevented from buying a good/low klm Japanese for quarter of its Aussie dealer sales
price?
