I was doing some research on some tin explorers and producers last night and had a “holy truck” moment.
the following information is taken from ANW’s investor presentation.
Tin expected to be most impacted by new tech. So demands high. with current global supply at 320kt
Here comes the humourous part.
taronga tin resource 57,000T - “world class” - 5th largest globally!
and the largest known reserve (obviously haven't read too many AVZ announcements) a meazly 160kt... lol.
so if avz already have 300kt as per jorc. For 400mt of lithium. Let’s thumb suck and extrapolate a 3/4 ratio for the exploration estimate of 1.2-2b tonne of Li for the project. We would land on 900kt-1500kt of Tin.
Take a conservative figure of 1000kt and it places avz resource of tin at 6 times larger than the apparent largest known reserve and 17 times larger than anw.
Anw market cap = 34m
hmmmm so what’s apparent is that even at 60% ownership avz should be value at $326m as a tin mine.
With 2bn lithium credits... haha
in essence I searched for a tin miner only to realise I had the largest undeveloped one in my folio.
