"Putin", I think you mean "Russia", have no territorial ambitions in Scandinavia, although the Sea Routes are important as you point out. Sweden's "panic" as you call it, is just being caught out with all their equipment being destroyed, and with the US pulling out and distancing itself from project Ukraine. I don't have data on Swedish military personnel killed in Ukraine, but no doubt there have been a few. I don't see the Swedes jumping to back Macron's intervention plan.
