Some people do not realise that there is a difference in tax outcomes between being an investor or trader.
I would suggest for the people that do not know, should seek tax advice before venturing any further in buying and selling shares.

Being considered an investor and not a trader is critical for me when it comes time to realising my capital gains in Starpharma and as such I'm investing for the potential of fat gains over the next 6 months.

Some of us however choose not to act as a trader for many reasons, one being to retain investor status and continue to be eligable for the CGT concessions for our portfolio's.
