Holding SPL not only can lose you money, but there is an opportunity cost too. In December 2021 I sold the last of my SPL. $18,000 of it I put into VET. My SPL would have been worth about $14,000 had I kept it. Instead, my VET stock is worth over $32,000. SPL would need to go up 130% to match this. Glad I sold.
