Transport: Prime Minister receives Korean delegation and road safety campaign begins
11/09/2009 A South Korean delegation led by Lee Hun Ki, Head of that country’s Department of National Transport Survey and Analyses Centre for Infrastructure and Investment is in Cameroon.
They were received in audience yesterday by Cameroon’s Prime Minister and Head of government, Philemon Yang.

During the audience at the Prime Minister’s office, the Korean delegation disclosed a national railway master plan elaborated for Cameroon.

In a separated development, Minister of Transport Maigari Bello Bouba has urged highway users to abide by the prescribed highway safety rules that have been put in place.

The declaration was made as part of the official launch of the back-to-school road safety campaign for the year 2009.

The launch was characterised by visits to some travel agencies. Minister Maigari Bello Bouba also visited some highways to ensure the effective implementation of the road safety campaign elaborated
