yeah you are right managements track record doesn't matter, completely irrelevant. poker is just a game of chance, the same people always end up in the final on pure luck. And successful sporting coaches only win because the have the most talented players.

if this was the case why do some companies pay CEOs 10 million and others 100k? if their track record is irrelevant all manages should get paid the same because they will have no impact on how successful a company will be.

winners are winners because they identify risk manage it accordingly and exploit opportunities. mr Lamb was asked to manage MYL because his track record is good and he is a winner. mr lamb in return accepted the offer to work with MYL because the chances of succeeding was high given the size of deposit etc etc

this is a explorative speculative mining company. it could fail you are right, yes you are correct the market doesn't like this stock right now. but you are 100% wrong to think the team leading this won't effect its chance of success. IMO the market doesn't like this stock for two reasons. sovereign risk and it closed operations because it was not profitable. two very big question marks. and if management overcome these two risk through their actions, by mining high grade ore every share holder will make at least 10 x their money. if the don't everyone will loose their investment. as a holder IMHO success is 90% likely and reward greatly outweigh the risk.
