What you can't see is this has momentum that won't go away.

It's irrelevant if Trump is tried and convicted before the election.

In your haste to find positives, you forget this is kryptonite to the electorate, they aren't going to vote for someone on these charges even if he somehow managed to get the Republican nomination (highly unlikely). If he was unwise enough to run without it, he will split the conservative vote.

Elections are won and lost on the middle ground, and proper process must be followed. You forget this.

Trump stinks, (he always did) but the stink is now fully wafting to conservative voters.
