Trump owes the cash, if he can't pay, then seizing assets to sell to satisfy that debt is the normal process.
It makes zero financial sense for Trump to wait for his assets to be seized.
If Trump had of accepted responsibility and shown the court that he wouldn't repeat his errors, then his penalty would more than likely have been less than half of what it was, but Trump doesn't have the capacity to do that.
