Seems your house has already had the big test and all good. Water seems to be biggest issue in a lot of these weather events. Was in Cardwell about a week after Yasi and it was really devastated! Not a fan of big winds and spinning bananas so prefer to leave, plus in the past had children and pets to consider.
Storm surfers is pretty good at predicting / modelling future cyclones, we keep an eye on it Dec thru to April. Take care and keep on prepping
