I think you'll find that the big players are alot more savvy than most of us small fishes. Churning the shares at the rate they do makes them millions and millions of dollars playing the waves in a short period of time. They will never get such liquidity for long, so as I see it, they are maximising the opportunity before moving on to the next volumous stock. They are never going to hang around for long, especially when liquidity wanes off
